Learn to read your card
A simple rating that sums up how you aim. We show you what we look at, not the recipe of the calculation.
Reading your card
Each arrow points at the element of the card it explains.
- The rank
The letter from E to S, with its colour: your aiming level at a glance.
- The Aim Rating
Your aim rating. The higher it is, the more precise your mechanics.
- The style
SMOOTHAIM, MIXEDAIM or ROBOTAIM: how you move your crosshair. A description, not a judgement.
- The style score
Its value on the style scale, from 1000 to over 2500.
- The AWP rating
Your sniper rating, in blue. It opens once you have enough AWP shots.
- Your links
Your Steam profile and your FACEIT account, when linked.
The ranks
From E to S, six ranks to place your aiming level.
What raises your rating
Four families of measures, read duel after duel. Each metric is shown as a gauge, from grey (to work on) to gold (strength).
Do your bullets hit, and where?
How fast you hurt the enemy after seeing them.
Where your crosshair is before the duel starts.
Shooting at the right moment, with a controlled burst.
Your aiming style
Your aiming signature, on a five-style scale.
Very soft and gliding: the crosshair settles slowly on the target.
Long, fluid movements: the crosshair glides toward the target.
A mix of fluid and fast moves, depending on the situation.
Fast, sharp moves that still feel natural.
Small, very fast and precise jerky moves.
A style, not a level: no style is better than another.
A reliable rating
Your rating appears as soon as your first match is analyzed. The leaderboard opens at 8 matches: comparing too early would be misleading.
We look at your mechanics in each duel, never at the result of the match.
The more you play, the more precise and stable your rating becomes.
A duel through smoke does not count: you are not judged on what you cannot see.
What we do not measure
CSAIM describes how you aim. It looks at neither the result nor your decisions, and it does not detect cheating.
The formula stays private
The details of the calculation stay confidential: they evolve with calibration, and keeping them private protects your rating against copies and against tricks to inflate it.
